The Virginia Occupational Therapy Association or VOTA is the state association that represents Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants who live and work in the Commonwealth of Virginia. VOTA seeks to increase public awareness about occupational therapy and its value in meeting diverse health and participation needs. VOTA provides members with cost-effective continuing education, legislative representation and a community of Virginia occupational therapy students, practitioners and educators who work together to further our profession. Did you know that only 8% of Virginia OT practitioners are VOTA members? The efforts that VOTA makes support all practitioners in our state however. member driven organizations are only as effective as our membership is involved.
