Are you passionate about a topic area relevant to OT practice? Your Virginia colleagues want to learn from you! You do not need to be a nationally known expert to make a meaningful contribution. Some of the most impactful conference sessions come from clinicians, educators, and students who are willing to share practical experiences, creative solutions, and honest reflections from everyday practice. Practitioners of all levels have the capacity to review and implement evidence-based practice and share key takeaways with the OT community. Tangible strategies for translating knowledge into practice are invaluable to our professional community. VOTA invites you (yes, you!) to propose a poster or a session for the Annual Conference.
VOTA values interdisciplinary learning and encourages presentations from community partners, nonprofit organizations, interdisciplinary collaborators, and professionals from related fields whose work aligns with the aims of occupational therapy and the needs of the communities we collectively serve.
