Movement Potentials
April 24-25, 2015

This two day workshop is designed to offer therapists a dynamic approach to working with infants and children with movement disorders. Participants will explore new concepts for organization of movement and attain therapeutic skills designed to improve movement efficiency and functional ability in infants and children with motor dysfunction.

Workshop Objectives

On completion of this workshop, the participant will be able to:

  • Explain the theoretical basis for the Perception-Action Approach to intervention
  • Relate Perception-Action concepts
  • when observing, assessing and providing intervention for infants and children with motor dysfunction
  • Obtain Perception-Action assessment and intervention skills
  • Develop intervention strategies according to Perception-Action principles
  • Perform basic Perception-Action handling skills
