Q: How many typically attend the Annual VOTA conference?

A: We typically have a range of attendees from 100 -130 people. A significant portion of our registrants register close to the registration deadline. We typically have final numbers about a week before the conference.

Q: Can I receive a contact list for attendees?

A: VOTA allows registrants to opt in or out of having their contact information shared with vendors at the time of their registration. Vendors will be provided with the contact information of attendees who have opted in within 2 weeks after the conference ends. Vendors are strongly encouraged to bring their own sign in sheet to collect additional emails from attendees who visit their table.

Q: Will attendees have specific times to visit my table?

A: Attendees will have time to visit tables during breaks, poster sessions, and throughout the course of the day.

Q: What time can I set up?

A: We are still finalizing the conference schedule, but we anticipate that you will be able to set up your table around 7:30 or 7:45. More detailed information, including exact times and parking instructions, will be shared approximately a month before the event.

Q: Are vendor/sponsor tables for Saturday and Sunday?

A: Tables are available only for Saturday

Q: Will there be electricity for my table?

A: This varies from venue to venue. Please reach out to us prior to registering to inquire about availability at this year’s venue

Q: Can I ship you items for my table?

A: Unfortunately, at this time we are not able to have items shipped to the venue or to VOTA members

This course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to safely implement high intensity, occupation-based neurorehabilitation to improve functional outcomes and participation for stroke, TBI, and iSCI survivors.

You've seen the research...but translating high intensity neurorehabilitation into meaningful occupational therapy interventions can feel overwhelming. You will receive guided application for utilizing evidence-based assessment tools, applying neuroplasticity principles, increasing treatment intensity safely, and improving occupational performance outcomes.

Experience two full days of hands-on training and resources to support immediate translation of HIT into your clinical practice.

Hosted by the Ellmer College of Health Sciences and the Faschini Wallach Center for Restorative Therapies at Old Dominion University in partnership with VOTA.

Dr. Phil Lamoreaux, OTD, OTR/L, CPT

An occupational therapist and certified personal trainer specializing in high intensity, occupation- based neurorehabilitation. He helps clinicians translate cutting edge research into meaningful occupational therapy interventions to improve participation in daily life.
